Who We Are

Kudlio is operated by KapTable AI Limited ("KapTable", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Kudlio mobile apps and related support channels.

What Kudlio Is

Kudlio is a playful conversation app where you speak and a Kudlio friend responds with on-screen text and stylized animal-like sounds. Kudlio is designed for entertainment. The sounds are AI-generated interpretations, not real animal language.

Information We Collect

  • Device-generated identifier — a random identifier stored securely on your device and used to manage guest preview access before sign-in
  • Account sign-in data — Apple or Google account identifiers and, if provided, email address or private relay email, used to create and maintain your Kudlio account on the relevant platform
  • Account linkage data — the relationship between your device and your Kudlio account so your minutes can follow you across supported devices
  • Purchase records — App Store or Google Play transaction IDs, product IDs, purchase tokens, and related verification records used to validate and grant purchased minutes
  • Usage ledger data — remaining free time, purchased minutes, and related usage/balance records needed to operate the service
  • Support communications — information you choose to send us when you contact support

Information We Do Not Intend To Store

We do not intend to store your audio recordings or conversation transcripts on our own servers. We also do not use third-party advertising SDKs, mobile analytics SDKs, ad identifiers, contact lists, photos, precise location data, or health data.

Audio Processing

When you speak in Kudlio, your audio is sent for realtime AI processing so the service can generate a response. Kudlio is built to avoid retaining your audio or transcript data on our own backend. Conversation processing relies on third-party AI infrastructure from our AI provider, which handles data under its own terms and policies.

How We Use Information

  • Operate Kudlio and return conversation responses
  • Authenticate accounts with Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google
  • Verify App Store and Google Play purchases and grant minutes correctly
  • Restore purchased minutes across supported devices
  • Enable account deletion and related platform account flows
  • Maintain service security, prevent abuse, and investigate misuse
  • Respond to support requests and legal obligations

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Kudlio may use local notifications on your device for re-engagement reminders. Local notifications are scheduled on-device. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate Kudlio, such as Apple and Google for authentication and in-app purchases, our AI provider for conversation processing, and cloud infrastructure providers that store account and usage records. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

Data Retention

We keep account, linkage, purchase, and usage records for as long as your Kudlio account remains active or as needed to operate the service and comply with legal obligations. Guest-device usage records may remain associated with your device identifier until they are migrated to an account, reset, or otherwise removed through normal service operations.

Account Deletion

You can delete your Kudlio account from the Settings screen in the app. When you do, we aim to permanently remove your account profile, linked-device associations, and account-backed usage data from our systems. Deletion is permanent. Unused purchased minutes and account history are not recoverable after deletion.

Your Choices

  • You can choose whether to sign in with Apple or Google.
  • You can decide whether to grant notification permission.
  • You can stop using the app at any time.
  • You can delete your account in-app if you want your account-backed data removed.

Children's Privacy

Kudlio is designed to be family-friendly, but it is not directed to children as a standalone data collection service. We do not knowingly sell or use personal information from children for advertising purposes. If you believe a child has provided us information inappropriately, contact us and we will review the request.

International Use

Kudlio may be operated using service providers in more than one country. By using the service, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own, subject to applicable law.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
